The tour includes visiting of Olesko Castle, Pidhirtsi Castle and Zolochiv Castle. Olesko Castle is one of the most famous castles in Lviv region. The first mention dates back to 1327. Olesko Castle stands on top of a small hill, about fifty meters in height. A moat and a wall surrounds it, which serves as a defence for the castle. In the 15th century, the castle was changed from being a defense point, to simply a getaway for aristocracy. Exhibition in the castle recreates the atmosphere of cultural and artistic life of the past centuries. The castle boasts one of Europe's largest collections of wooden sculptures and paintings. Pidhirtsi Castle is one of the European best examples of the Renaissance palace.Its ensemble includes a three-storey palace, an inner yard, St. Joseph church and a "French" park. In 1720 the castle was passed to the family Zhevuski who turned it into a real museum. Zolochiv Castle since its construction has served as a fortress, a royal residence, a landlord's farmstead, a jail and even as an educational institution. It was constructed on Jakub Sobieski funds (father of King of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Jan III Sobieski) in 1634 as a defensive fortress designed by an unknown Italian architect.
